For this assignment my creative expression format is going to be a collage of Artificial Intelligence potential future role in photojournalism, or a potential threat to photojournalists and the influence of pictures/stories to the targeted audience. The ideas I am trying to express are AI taking over the job of taking pictures in many different scenarios, some may say this is good due to the safety factor in potentially dangerous situations. Another risk with AI in photojournalism is the ability to deep fake and alter the appearance of a photo or video. I chose a collage because I felt I could best express my idea about this with a variety of specifically generated images with my ideas written out. I tend to struggle with artistic expression of ideas I feel are best expressed with words. I get excited about giving my opinion on controversial/crucial topics.

 A.  The process of how black and white film roll works in displaying  pictures is very interesting and multiple steps. In the development of pictures from black and white film roll you must first place the film in a solution that is a reducing agent, the silver ions in the photograph get turned into silver metal, with perfect temperature control this process is shown best. After this first step is done the film is next washed in water, this primes the film for the next step which is putting it in the "fixer" this gets rid of all unexposed silver crystals that purify the pictures. The next and final couple steps is to wash film and then let it dry. You now have a processed film roll. This was much simpler for photojournalists, coming a long way from drawing out the message they were trying to show (M4 'before there were pixels pt 1, 3:37). B. The writings will be detailed about the photojournalist's life, his goal, what he accomplished, and potential controversy surrounding his death.
